About
Carol Green is a long time Alaskan with a wealth of creativity and resourcefulness and has worked with many different media. Many years ago, while Carol was making her own line of soaps and skin care products, she and a friend co-founded the long running “Bad Girls of the North” juried craft show. After many years running both businesses, Carol was ready to move on.
While on vacation, she learned about ice-dying and fell in love! The process uses fiber reactive dyes and ice to create unique, vibrant and interesting colors and patterns on a variety of materials. Carol ice dyes scarves, bandanas, beautiful cotton napkin sets, and more.
Of course, as quilter, Carol quickly figured out that she could custom dye yards of fabric to be used in her projects. Carol has put together some fun, themed bundles of fat quarters and dyes yardage by request.
Carol also offers small group workshops to teach ice dying.
